SEQMC with the support of the Office of Councilman I. Daneek Miller and more than a half dozen volunteers were pleased to participate in a Ramadan Food Distribution effort on April 30, 2021 on Foch & Guy R. Brewer Blvd. Thank you to all for your assistance and appreciated collaboration.
What Happens After the Ballot?
You are invited to join us on Saturday, February 20, 2021, 2:00 - 3:30 PM, SEQMC in collaboration with the ICNA Council for Social Justice and NYMUCE as we acknowledge and recognize our Beloved Martyred Brother El-Hajj Malik El- Shabazz as our contribution to Black History Month 2021. The virtual event asks the question: "What Happens After the Ballot?"
SEQMC & Queens Defenders Food Distribution
SEQMC collaborated with Queens Defenders to distribute food boxes at the corner of Foch and Guy R. Brewer Blvds. on Friday. November 13, 2020. More than 80 boxes of food and 90 gallons of milk were distributed within 2 hours on a wet and rainy afternoon. Tremendous thanks to Queens Defenders!
EARLY VOTING SUPPORT
SEQMC and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority collaborate in the distribution of PPE while acknowledging and supporting the turnout of early voters on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at York College. Chairs, face screens, masks, hand sanitizer, snacks and general service provider information was provided to more than 800 community residents.

The coming together of several non-profit/service organizations on October 31, 2020 to provide some comfort and PPE to community residents during early voting at York College. Collaborative spirit was high during the 2020 Election during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is how we will survive it, God Willing.

SEQMC members are present on August 22, 2020 in this group image comprised of numerous SE Queens organizations gathered to start today's 2020 Census Caravan 2.0. Cars left Sayres Ave. in Jamaica to promote the census via megaphone, balloons and honking horns to the communities of Rosedale, Queens Village, Jamaica, South Jamaica and South Ozone Park, current low count areas. It was exhilarating! Let's see those census count numbers increase Queens!
